Annual Fall Festival at Pioneer Park

ADVENTURE-LEGGERS: Unsolved Mysteries

ADVENTURE-LEGGERS is an annual festival celebrating creativity through comic books, literary adventure, and interactive programming. This year’s Unsolved Mysteries! theme invites kids to search for clues, explore the unknown, and experience a little magic along the way.
Festival highlights include free books for all ages, free lunch for kids, jewel thief ceramics, a mystery vending machine, invisible ink, button making, magic and mystery shows, storytime, and more.

Big Truck & Vehicle Extravaganza

Kids, teens, and adults can get an up-close look at a variety of emergency and heavy-duty vehicles. Coral Gables Pumpkin Patch

Experience a festive fall display featuring hundreds of pumpkins throughout the park. Families can enjoy live music, pumpkin decorating, face painting, a mini harvest market, food and beverages for purchase, and charming fall-themed portrait areas.
Tickets / Info: Coral Gables residents receive early access to presale tickets. Tickets are $15 and include one pumpkin and admission for up to four guests, while supplies last. A limited number of general admission tickets will also be sold in person on a first-come, first-served basis. Arch Creek Park Ghost Tour

Spooky Adventures: Monsters Unleashed

Get ready for a Halloween takeover at the Gold Coast Railroad Museum! Explore historic trains and a spooky haunted yard filled with Halloween characters, photo opportunities, aerial silk performances, a DJ, trunk-or-treating, a kids zone, food vendors, and entertainment.
Train rides depart every 45 minutes, so you can explore the museum and enjoy the festivities while you wait. Costumes are encouraged.

Get ready for a spooky night of family fun at Cutler Bay’s annual Halloween Spooktacular! Come dressed in your favorite costume and enjoy Trunk or Treat, a costume contest, a Halloween Golf Cart Parade, inflatables, food trucks, a live DJ, and more.
The Halloween Golf Cart Parade begins at 6:00 PM, with lineup opening at 5:00 PM and closing at 5:50 PM. Decorated golf carts are required to participate.
The Costume Contest is open to multiple age groups, including infants through adults and pets. Participation is limited to the first 25 registered participants per age group, with registration closing at 6:45 PM.

Spooktacular Halloween Fun at Alton Town Center

Join the community for a frightfully fun Halloween afternoon filled with activities for the whole family. Kids can enjoy pumpkin decorating, Halloween games, face painting, fairy hair, a spin-the-wheel activity, refreshments, tenant goodies and giveaways.
The celebration will also feature creepy and fun Halloween characters, plus a special appearance by Mickey & Minnie.
Tickets / Info: Registration required at Alton Town Center. Non-perishable food donations will be collected to benefit Adopt-A-Family of the Palm Beaches, Inc.

34th Annual October Kite Festival

Date: Saturday, October 24 & Sunday, October 25, 2026 | 12:00–5:00 PM
Location: Haulover Park, 10800 Collins Avenue, Miami, FL 33154
Watch the sky come alive with hundreds of colorful kites, including giant show kites like flying sharks, a 100-foot octopus, a 30-foot astronaut, giant stingrays, and more.
Families can bring their own kites to fly, purchase one at the event, or simply bring a blanket and enjoy the music and spectacular display. The festival also celebrates South Florida’s cultural diversity, with traditional kites representing countries from around the world.
Food and refreshments will be available for purchase.
Tickets / Info: Free event. Parking is $10 per car and fills up early. Carpooling or ridesharing is encouraged. No dogs.

Fall Into Community

Join Miami-Dade County Community Services for a family-friendly day connecting residents with valuable community resources and services. Get information on job training and employment, medical and mental health support, emergency assistance, legal and literacy services, parenting resources, and substance use support.
Families can also enjoy music, children’s entertainment, barber shop services, and food distribution while supplies last.

ICA Miami Annual Family Fest

Location: Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami (ICA Miami)
Celebrate the communities that shape Miami at ICA Miami’s Annual Family Fest. This year’s theme, “We Are Miami,”brings the city’s art, music, architecture, and cultural traditions to life through interactive experiences for the whole family.
Enjoy interactive murals celebrating Miami’s history and design, creative art-making stations inspired by the city’s colorful neighborhoods, and an interactive performance by Miami’s own Fantasy Theatre Factory. Sensory-Friendly Sunday: Older Than Trees

6th Annual SJN Trunk or Treat

Location: Saint John Neuman Church Parking Lot
Join the SJN parish family for an evening of Halloween fun with decorated trunks, trick-or-treating, and treats for the kids.
Families and SJN ministries can also sign up to decorate a trunk and hand out treats. Individually wrapped candy and small Halloween giveaways such as squishies, stickers, and fidgets are also being collected through Friday, October 23.

BooVille

Calling all ghosts, goblins, witches, and superheroes! Enjoy a spooktacular evening of family-friendly Halloween fun at BooVille.
Tickets / Info: Free for Pembroke Pines residents only, but tickets are required. Tickets are limited and available beginning Wednesday, October 7, on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets must be picked up in person with proof of residency, including a valid driver’s license and utility bill.

You do not need to participate in the 5K to attend the festival. Families can also come early for the Faith in Motion 5K Run & Walk at 7:30 AM and stay for the festival.

This freakish haunted carnival at Miami International Mall has been scaring the living daylights out of Miamians for more than 20 years and this time around, they’ve got even more thrills and chills in store at a new location!
Finding its new home at Tropical Park, make your way through five nightmarish haunts like and Camp Dead-End Trails Isla de las Muñecas.
Beyond the scares, you can expect tons of fun rides and tasty carnival treats.

From the creators of Bayside Haunted Nights and No Way Out Miami, this new haunted attraction will unleash fears you never knew you had at The Fair Expo Center.
Guests can expect four haunted houses, some of which have yet to be unveiled.
Ones we know of so far include an outbreak-themed The Infected and Mitos, a descent into the legends of Latin America.

Spend a sinister evening at Davie’s annual haunt, which brings dozens of themed rooms, creepy actors and lighting effects to the Pine Island Multipurpose Center.
If you get hungry, they’ll have various vendor booths and baked goods to try.
And for the faint of heart, there are opportunities to venture the house on a not-so-scary night without any of the jump scares!
